CH Rosemere Bleu Bayou X Bayshore's On the Catwalk
Spider came to me from Frank and Chris at Bayshore Kennels in VA. Her parents have been excellent producers and I'm looking forward to adding her influence to Paradox.
TEMPERAMENT
Spider is a such a unassuming, quiet house dog that her intense work ethic on hikes( I'm a scout, yes I am!), in the pond ( I'm an Olympic swimmer, yes I am!), retrieving ( I'll just die if you don't throw that again, yes I will!) and re: food (watch your fingers!) can come as a surprise. In the house and kennel we often forget she's there, she's so demure. Outdoors, she comes to life. Solid muscle and eager, she could go all day.
She is actively submissive with visiting dogs, friendly to strangers and fairly uncomplicated in general. She does resource guard bones and food from other dogs when she's crated. She has never shown any inclination to resource guard with humans
CONFORMATION
A moderate bitch with plenty of neck, a nice straight front, rock solid top line and 10+ for a rear. Pleasantly dry head, full dentition, scissors bite. Rich pigment, straight coat. I might give her more shoulder layback.
