Ferris
AKC, ASCA CH. Paradox Ferris Wheel DNA-CP "Ferris"
( Ch. Northbay's Ringside Rumor x Ch. Paradox Spinning Wheel)

Ferris and daughter, Teeter ( CH. Paradox Plaything)
Ferris has had a tremendous influence on the most recent Paradox breeding program. She is the mother/grandmother of many of our current dogs and companion to our "tween", Delaney. The queen of the place, she is a self contained, polite and helpful (dish duty!) housedog. Quiet and well mannered in the kennel, she generally looks down her regal nose at guest dogs! An athletic and willing outdoor companion, she is careful to avoid mussing her nail polish in such uncouth endevours as mud puddle splashing and swamping. The one exception to her "I'm perfect" ethic is her love of rolling in all things dead!
Her most endearing quality is her love of puppies. She is a meticulous and attentive mother both to her own puppies and any other resident litters. Given half a chance she will sneak into an unattended whelping box and "nurse" HER new litter! Upon returning from a walk the dam of litter will be firmly warned away by Ferris the babysnatcher!
CONFORMATION
Ferris is a moderate dog in all ways. Moderate coat, size, bone, angles and temperament. Comfortable in her own body, she is a clean and balanced mover all around, with relaxed, efficient side movement. She stands and moves very accurately in front and although correct behind, may tend towards closeness. Although she has a large area of dilution on her rib cage, her color is crisp and clear on the rest of her body. Scissors bite, full dentition.
BREEDING CONSIDERATIONS
When I breed Ferris, I have the luxury of breeding a dog who has, as they say "a leg on each corner". No major faults to worry about. Solid temperament with people and dogs. I am cognizant however that she may not hold bone and head bred into lines that are not strong for those traits.
Eyes: cleared annually
Hereditary Cataract: one copy
Hips: OFA excellent
